Sometime ago we were in the process of buying a house in anthill close (right move link). After us spending out considerable sums of cash on Solicitor shanigans, the vendors of questionable morale standing Gazumped us an accepted an offer of only 8k more.
This caused us alot of stress and anguish, but then to top it off the buyer of our house pulled out as a result.
However today we get a phone call from the Estate agents, the people who had put the higher offer in had pulled out! and would we like to carry on where we left off.
Never before has the phase "IN YOUR FACE!" been so apt :). I naturally wish them all the best with their search for a new buyer.
