Tags: Tivo , Tivo Series3 Another Groovey piece of kit just recently revealed at CES is the Series 3 Tivo. The Series 3 naturally has HDTV support ( proper 1080p i shall rant no more on this). It will still encode analogue Video to Mpeg 2 but has the capability of Mpeg 4 playback (AVC/H.264 etc ). The Remote has been slightly updated, importantly the drive inside are now SATA, and if you look carefully at the picture of the back you'll spot an external SATA connection for simple upgrades (no more faffing around in Linux). Outputs include HDMI, Component Video, S-Video, and Composite Video and Optical output for all your dolby digital out requirements. One small other thing Brits wont be getting it. Unless Sony and Philips actually produce it like they said they would the series 2 in 2004 ( grrr)

Saturday night went to see Jamie Cullum Live at the Hammer Smith Apollo. Was absolutely excelent he did tracks from all three albums, Pointless Nostalgic, Twenty Somthing and the new Ablum Catching Tales. I would highly reccomend you go and see him, except last night was the last night of the tour, so just take my word for it :) Supporting was Nizlopi , (those guys that did the JCB song). They we're not as I expected a bunch of Old men in beards bashing sticks togther and playing wash boards, In fact they are a Two Piece one guy with a guitar and his voice and the other with a double bass. They too we're amazing, never seen a support act acctually get a proper response from the auidience, pretty impressive stuff considering they played for 45mins or so and everyone probably only knew the one song. So good I ordered thier album (with money).

Tags: No Drink , No Fags , Loose Weight Day 12, weighed my self this morning, and I have lost 3/4 of a stone. Bearing in mind that im have two proper meals a day including two pub lunches this week, and none of this healthy crap food. I lost nearly and entire stone and not a chickpea or lettice leaf in site. This naturally leads me to believe that all these "I can't loose weight" people are slackers. Got to start going to the gym next, to add to current excise (none). I should write a book "How to loose weight & Give up drinking in two easy steps" Chapter one 1. Stop Drinking. 2. Drink a lot of water.
