The more observant of you (and the more geeky) will have noticed that several things have changed on this site. I have moved it off the old Windows hosting I was using in the states to, a spangly Linux based on also in the states.
Why have you done this ? (no one cries as why would they its not very interesting to anyone but me, probably why are you posting about it is a more pertinent question)
I have done this so I can take advantage of Apache Rewrite rules
You may notice that the post URL's appear in a more freindly fashion now, also now the blog is now hosted at blog.james-lloyd.com, now if I have done this correctly (last time I did any of this work was at lastminute.com, 2years ago) google bot should spot the permenant redirection to blog.james-lloyd.com (note all the old style links will redirect to the correct page) and i shouldn't loose my page ranking. If not i'll loose all my traffic. :(
