I Always was firmly against DRM
Darren's is on a personal boycott of all DRM products, a boycott I heartily agree with. If you dont know what DRM is Darren explains better than I can be bothered here. Personally the thought that you can buy some music or a video but then only be able to listen or watch that on a device some fat cat, (I wouldn't normally use the phrase fat cat, but I saw the episode of that Simpsons recently where their all being thrifty, tins of Krill etc you know the one), erm fat cats yes, some fat cats has decided is fit for you to watch/listen to it on.
Madness I'm sure if all the record companies allowed you to stream all their music to your PC to listen to, so you could try before you buy, they'd sell more CD's. I'm all for purchasing CD's that you like as you want the band to do well so they can carry on making more good cd's, or just encourage them to go all big headed and ditch their "Writing" Partner pick up another mediocre writer who may of been in Duran Duran at some point. To be fair I quite like the new Robbie album but its a good example.
I have nothing more Constructive (He says trying to make out that the above is very constructive) to say on the subject.
